Cargo Pilot Rosco Little just wanted to make his run and get paid; not run for his life. Just looking at the girl, he knew she would bring him no end of trouble. But having seen her, it was far too late. And the gods always require a sacrifice.
BLAGORIANS ARE squat little trolls, with hair like spun tangerine aluminum and they smell like the inside of a carrion eater’s bowels. They also hate it when you light their sacred idols on fire. A lot.
Rosco pocketed the photograph and stood, eying the growing accumulation of splotchy green beings surrounding him. “Look guys. It was an accident. No big deal, right? I was just trying to—well, it really doesn’t matter what I was trying to do. Look, just let me go, and I promise it will never happen again. Honest.”
