Bio of Aleja Bennett

Aleja Robbins (Bennett) was born in East Elmhurst Queens New York by her unknown biological mother. In 1976 she was raised in East New York Brooklyn by her church attending adopted parents who serve as a deacon and deaconess in the Victory Missionary Baptist Church. From the age of two through nineteen they physically, verbally, and mentally abused her. She was tortured, starved, made fun of, ridiculed and neglected all through her childhood.

Many nights she would cry leaving the pillows soaked and wet from crying all through the nights as a child. At the age of nine, she began to run away because it felt so safe being away from her adopted parents. She had a tidy room and a clean place to live so who would believe her? When she did confide in people they would go right behind her back and tell her parents.

She would get the worse beating ever for opening her mouth about what was really going on in the Robbins home. Fear was a major part of her childhood but when adulthood took over that fear started to disappear slowly. Aleja began to look for love in the wrong places with alcoholic and drug addicted men and their families. She didn’t realize that these people would destroy and take her children in the long run.
