My thirtieth wedding anniversary is today, June 14th, 2010. After a long day of teaching Physical Education at St. John’s University, I jump into my car and begin to drive on the Long Island Expressway toward the city of Elmhurst, in Queens, New York. I should be arriving at St. Bartholomew’s Church at 7 PM to meet my wife, who assuredly will be waiting for me. We will be renewing our wedding vows this evening. Yet, I can still vividly remember the day we first met, and the events that led to our marriage.
