Monday morning, Clarissa Everett rolled over and, with one eye open, glanced at the alarm clock. 7 AM. Crap! She was already late. The alarm hadn't gone off. She was supposed to be up to send Aaron off to school. She ran to the bathroom to pee and splash some water on her face. If she was ever going to make it to work on time, she was going to have to skip her shower and throw some make-up on in the car.
