When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I am a professional grandfather,which is a fantastic activity, and then Gardening.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, I was sitting on the veranda of a house on the edge of a coconut estate in Sri Lanka.
What is your writing process?
I've changed, but now I open an Excel file and use a seperate sheet for Plot, Characters and Word Count, and if necessary a Time Span sheet.
How do you approach cover design?
We download free photos from the web, and then design the cover using MS Paint.
What do you read for pleasure?
History books, not novels, and I've starting rereading Wodehouse.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My laptop
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
That is the $64,000 question!

Small and cluttered.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Singapore, yes my admiration for many things Asian.

1996
What are you working on next?
I've recently been fascinated with High Heels. Ladies with nice legs do look good in them!
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
During the night I frequently think about my plot, or an instance in a book, so I tend to get up early to write an amendment or a new paragraph.
What are you working on next?
I've written twelve romance books, and most are now with publishers for consideration and editing, so I'm taking a rest. Then it occured to me that police thrillers would be good genre, for me. So I've started and have submitted my first manuscript to a traditional publisher.
What do your fans mean to you?
They are the most important aspect of my work. I wish I knew who they all were, but when they buy my books there is no record kept of the buyers, my fans.
