Published 2014-01-26.
What are you working on next?
I am currently working on the last two books in the Network series; Bloodlines and Eternal, which is a prequel. I am also working on Naree Pon.
Who are your favorite authors?
Stephen King and Steve Alten
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My children.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Working on other creative avenues; jewelry, cake decorating, scrapbooking, etc.
How do you approach cover design?
I have a cover designer. Usually I let him read my manuscript first and let him decide what he wants to do with it. So far he has been spot on with all of them.
What do you read for pleasure?
I like paranormal, sci-fi and horror.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in SD. I'm not sure how it influenced my writing. I think growing up there and then traveling the country gave me a perspective that is different from a lot of people.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I'm currently working on Eternal, which is the prequel to the entire Network series. It shows the very beginning of Khalida's vampire lineage.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I was encouraged by a friend to pursue it. So far it has been a wonderful experience.
What do your fans mean to you?
Fans are great because they keep me working on my next story. Sometimes we all need a little push.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I love my kindle, although I don't get to use it as often as I would like.
