From search engine online. Sometimes people post good reviews of an ebook and I got to check it out to read it myself.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. I wrote a story based off the Ancient Egyptian legend of Horus one of their gods, via notebook. I was in high school when I wrote that story. It's the basis story for "Hayu Tales: Point of Origin." I was a love of ancient Egypt and their history. I still love Ancient Egypt. I have used my love of Ancient Egypt as basis for my stories such as the series Egyptia named after Egypt. That series has nothing to do with ancient Egypt. It's only in name that its named that.
What is your writing process?
I type on the computer from time to time when the mood for typing stories hits me. There's other days when life catches up and I have to do things than staring at a computer. My outline for my stories evolves as in changes from time to time. There's days when I think I'm going with this theme and storyline but only to think of something better and go with another theme and storyline.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
One book that remained my favorite as a child, I think it was my favorite story. It's not an ebook but its called "Last of the really great Whangdoodles." I hope I got the title right. I loved that story. It got me thinking of imaginations.
How do you approach cover design?
I approach cover design as in trying to highlight the state of Connecticut's state and national forest parks. I love to take pictures of nature using them as my covers to my stories. Just to highlight Connecticut, my home state where I was born and raised as a great state in the United States to visit and live there.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Connecticut a great state to live in, in the United States. I would spend time writing in notebooks when I was in high school from thinking of various stories from my interests in reading. I wrote a fiction story of Ancient Egypt's gods but my own telling of the story in a science fiction fantasy theme. I even used to watch this defunct TV series "Babylon 5" on TV including recording that series whenever episodes aired. I thought of lots of fan fiction themed stories for that series. It became the basis of my current story "The Legend of Terror." Except I made sure that story was my own originality and not copying the TV series.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
My favorite books so far is "Last of the really great Whangdoodles.". It's my childhood favorite book I loved to read over and over. Chronicles of Narnia series are also a favorite with me and "The Catswold Portal" by Shirley Rousseau Murphy is one of my favorites. It features cats I love. I also like to read the Diary of Anne Frank. I love reading Anne Frank and her life during World War two. It's one of my favorite books I tend to read every year. I haven't memorized it word to word yet but I'm working on it. I like reading the autobiography on Bethany Hamilton a surfer who lost her arm in a shark attack. Her book is titled "Soul Surfer." I love reading Bethany's works, mostly her books she has published. I enjoy reading them. Another favorite is the Bible.

My fans mean the world to me when they give me feedback to my stories I have put on Smashwords. I know that my stories are an evolving process depending on what people say when they leave feedback. I use that feedback to help me further improve my writing.
