Who are your favorite authors?
I have many, but I have two of Paul Rega's books and he is a great inspiring author. There are a lot of authors out there I wished I could name them all.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I spend time with my family, my kids, and doing other things I enjoy like social media.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I have several pages of Facebook accounts that I social network with other authors. I find the ones that are free. I also have a site where I post my reviews for only children's books that I have read.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. The Croak 500 was my first book ever published first on www.lulu.com. The more we did books the better the artwork became. Our series of Ted and Raymond books were formed.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I love all my e-readers. If I am not on my iPhone reading I will do it on the iPad and if not that the Mac.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
I market anywhere and everywhere. My thing is, How does the customer know you have a book, if you aren't saying anything about them?
Describe your desk
hmm. right now a disaster. I write wherever right now.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing when I was a teen. I loved writing about my feelings. So, I started writing poetry and things.
What's the story behind your latest book?
My latest book is called "Grayson the BULLY Frog with Ted and Raymond" I am very much against bullying. I see there is a problem with bullying nationwide. I really want younger kids to see in my book the feelings of Ted and Raymond. Also to think about what if.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I love to write. When I didn't have the money I took steps of my own to learn how I can make my own dreams come true. In the beginning my dreams were rocky. Now, I am going to get my associates degree in Graphic Arts.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Making a kid happy or smiling with my books.

I love my fans. I love when the parents write me and tell me to continue to write because their kids love my work.
What are you working on next?
I have a book I am working on now called "Ted's Farting Problem". The reason behind this book is to let kids know when they eat too much of something they shouldn't it messes their stomach up.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My kids and my family.
What is your writing process?
When I have a thought write it down. Sometimes I do a lot of research on my subject.

I read a lot as a kid, and loved the books I received in the mail.
How do you approach cover design?
I want the book cover to have a meaning to my stories. In "African Safari with Ted and Raymond" I chose an African Scene background with the King of the jungle.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
I don't have a favorite. I review children's books and I love doing that for others. I feel we are all good writers when the messages are there.

I read a lot of children's books

I grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana. My friends and family influenced my writing. Life happenings so I can tech other kids to be better kids.
