It is super stimulating! Really, I feel so excited to let my thoughts and feelings escape onto paper. I get so emotionally charged and invested in my characters. Being a highly sensitive and emotional human being, I strive to bring the reader inside the character's heart and mind to experience what really makes them tick.
While my stories certainly have a plotline, they are first and foremost character and emotion driven. The reader needs to allow themselves more than a snippet of my books to fully appreciate a full-blown feast of drama.

I always had a natural ability for the written word, unlike my unnatural deficiency for anything mathematical. My love of writing really took flight in high school. I composed a very touching poem for my grandmother's seventy-fifth birthday, which was complemented alongside my cousin's beautiful pencil drawing of our family tree. A copy of this combined effort hangs in my hallway to this very day, a loving tribute to my sweet grandma.

I wrote my first romance novel when I was in high school, many years ago. This was back in the late 70s. I sent it out to a couple of publishing houses, with no luck. Being a kid and having no funds, I'm sorry to say that this book languished for over thirty years in a box! I certainly had continued to write over those many years, but married life, children, and caregiving for my elderly parents took precedence. At fifty-five years of age, my time has finally arrived! I am super excited about this new phase in my life.

I love to sing and read. I've made many recordings with my karaoke machine. What can I say? It's just a total rush to create!

I find many of my ebooks on various websites. I purchase my favorite authors for sure and also buy from the newbie crowd.

I am so very fortunate to have my beautiful daughter as my cover model! Even though she is an extremely private person, she has lovingly contributed to her mother's dreams. My husband helps with the use of Photoshop. The covers are certainly colorful and professionally homey.

I read a vast variety of books for pleasure. My first love is historical romance, but I also enjoy the classics. Lately, I have developed a sudden interest in time travel and mysteries.

My next venture is going to be another historical romance. I really migrate towards this genre, having read so many romance books in my heyday. This next book will consist of breathtaking, heart-breaking pirates! Hopefully this book will be out before Christmas. After my pirate adventure, I look forward to a different genre:
murder/mystery. I have never attempted a murder mystery before, and I look forward to this diabolical effort. Never having written a time travel before my penultimate book, An Enchanting Time, I nevertheless adapted to and thoroughly enjoyed this unfamiliar genre.

I do not own a desk. I write while sitting on the couch or in the comfort of my bed. I actually print my musings by hand and then type them on my computer later on. I learned the hard way not to get behind in my typing. What a chore!

A Trip With Destiny is an interesting character study of a disintegrating marriage. Sometimes a relationship is worth saving, but at other times it becomes imperative to get out while you can. I love the metaphor of taking flight. This dark story exemplifies overcoming one's weaknesses to rise to a bright future, where you and you alone are in charge of destiny. NEW BOOK RELEASE ALERT!
