Who are your favorite authors?
Ann B. Ross, Fannie Flagg, Sue Grafton, Lisa Scottoline, David Rosenfelt, James Grippando, Ed McBain, Mary Higgins Clark, Nora Roberts
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I spend a lot of my time reading and watching TV shows with my daughter. Food network has become become a favorite. I also like to get away for little trips on the weekends.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I use Barnes and Noble search options on the genre that I like and what I'm looking for as well as suggestions on Goodreads.
What is your writing process?
I work a full time job and if i wrote as soon as I got off work that seemed to work best for me, more ideas flowed. If I was just relaxing and thought I need to write and then tried, nothing would come.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Noooo, I'm a read-a-holic as my daughter would say and I've been like this since I was around twelve. I have no clue.
How do you approach cover design?
I first found a designer that I felt worked well with my personality and I told her what the book was about and we went from there.
What do you read for pleasure?
Almost anything fiction that sounds interesting.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Nook of course
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and it greatly influenced my writing because though I no longer live there my characters in my book do. Its the city I know best.
What are you working on next?
I'm working on the second installment of the Evelyn Lee Emerson Series called Pulled In Again! I think you'll love it, I have a lot planned for them.
