I started writing when I was seventeen. It was a real good place for me to write my thoughts and escape into my imagination. I loved the fact that I could create characters and make them do what I wanted them to do.

My latest book which is due to be published end of August is the second series to the Ivy, Sophia and Stefano vampire series. The question is, can vampire's go to heaven? I was inspired to write this story because there is a lot of condemnation about what is good or what is bad. People tend to judge same sex relationships and because I was raised going to church I always felt that you had to be a certain way to gain God's approval. But now that I'm older I don't feel this is the case. So I decided to write about how vampires can get a chance to redemption and how the heroine, Ivy, overcomes her own judgement about her self about loving a woman who is a vampire. It's fiction and has some juicy erotic scenes!

Even though I got positive feedback from publishers, I didn't feel as though I was going anywhere and I had to wait months just for a pat on the back. I wanted my stories out there, I wanted people to read them and so I started writing some of my stories on my blog and got some good feedback from them. Then one day I was thinking of ways to get my books published without a publisher. I came across a blog that mentioned Smashwords and from there I began to do further research. I've never looked back since. I've learned to just jump in and learn along the way, it's the best experience.

I love Smashwords! At the beginning I struggled with the formatting. It took me a while to finally figure it out but once I did, I just began to format my work the way they wanted it right from the start. So each time I start a story, I make sure it's already formatted. Smashwords has got me into many retailers that I wouldn't have been able to get into on my own. I'm able to make books free, which I can't do at most retailers, I can generate a coupon for promotions, so Smashwords has really helped me expand in many ways.

I'm working on a short BDSM story. Woke up with the idea one morning. I've decided to work on adding more short stories to my list of books so you'll be seeing a lot more of them.

I love Stephen King, Emily Bronte - Wuthering Heights, Eckhart Tolle - The Power of Now, Rhonda Bryne. I love any author who moves me, excites me, sends me on a trip to a far away land, manages to arouse me. To be honest I love many many authors who can make me think, enjoy and escape!

Life inspires me. Seeing another day, my daughter, my dog, my family, my friends, this is what inspires me to get up every morning. Sometimes very early in the morning I lie down and just listen to the birds tweet. It's beautiful. Life is a gift and each day I embrace it and do as much as I can.

I read quite a bit but when I don't know what to read I choose books randomly or by reviews. I don't mean I just choose books with glowing reviews. I also choose books that don't have great reviews because to me a review is a matter of opinion. I love to make up my own mind about books.

My mum. She's a strong independent woman who worked hard for what she's got. I admire the things she did for us as a family. Because of her I've became a strong and very independent woman too. I love the way she's raised her family on her own, working and getting an education, she's the woman I look up too.

Yep, it was about a girl who had super natural powers to see the dead. It wasn't very good even though I think the story was great. I wrote it on my very first computer but I have no idea what I did with the floppy disk that had the story. Floppy disk hey, those were the days!
