Interview with Steve Holyoak

When did you first start writing?
I first started writing children's stories when my children were small and stories were a big part of bedtime. As time went on I found that the stories grew longer and eventually Jacob of Capernaum grew into a novel.
What's the story behind your latest book?
As a young reader I found the scriptures confusing and hard to read. As an adult I realized the importance of scripture reading at an early age. This book is designed to help the new scripture reader to discover the flow and joy in reading the New Testament through story form. Then each reader will be able to search the scriptures with added ease and understanding.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I enjoy helping people and seeing the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their eyes.
This addition of Jacob of Capernaum is now available as an ebook, will you publish it in paper form?
Yes, my goal is to do just that. As I receive enough profits from my eBook, I will use those profits to produce the printed version.
What are you working on next?
I already have a good start on (Jacob of Capernaum - The Sacrifice.) Which is the second book in the Jacob of Capernaum series.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, an inspired children's story titled (The littlest Star.) Which I hope to publish soon.
