I grew up for the most part in Portland, Oregon. My grandmother was a big influence She was an avid reader and she always urged me to read. I was that child you always saw walking to school with her nose stuck in a book. I was reading on a college level in grade school.
When did you first start writing?
Its kind of funny how it started. My cousin's son needed a story written for his high school English class. He asked me to help. He said it had to be a Christmas story so I write Petal's Golden Wings, my children's book, in about 45 minutes. After that I write series of book's entitled Susie, which I intend to edit and make into eBooks.
What's the story behind your latest book?
This is the first in a series of three books. It is a collection of twenty-three real-life paranormal encounters. These stories recount some of my personal experiences as a psychic medium, with the supernatural. From my earliest recollections at the age of nine to present day. I recount my visit to a graveyard on Halloween night, a demon trapped in a mirror and I help a woman be rid of a demonic attachment.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Lack of response from traditional publishers that are too afraid to take a chance on a new writer.
How has being a published author changed your life?
Being published has opened a whole world of being able to touch peoples lives in a good way. I enjoy helping people and I have had so many people contact me through my website, www.mysticconnections.org, which is referenced in my book.
