Interview with Kam D'Resta

What motivated you to become an indie author?
Creative freedom and the fact that 'traditional' publishing is a walled garden.
What are you working on next?
A sequel. It's set outside of our solar system.
Who are your favorite authors?
Asimov, Silverberg and Philip K. Dick. Nicholas Fisk when I was younger.
How do you approach cover design?
D.I.Y. I know what I want.
Describe your desk
Functional.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Coffee.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Trawling through pages of copy for typos. Seriously tho, the fun part is the the ideas stage, maybe. Finishing a piece is a good feeling...
Do you think aliens exist?
Yes, but the chances of meeting an alien are probably close to zero. At least until someone in the galaxy devises a method to transverse astronomical distances and the ability to know where to find other inhabitants.

Are these anomalies simply the tail-end of silly season or are the citizens of Earth blissfully ignorant of a deeper conspiracy? An 'out of this world' adventure.
