Interview with Mignone Claudia Borg Catania

When did you first start writing?
When I was about 18 years of age.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I love the history of my country and I thought to share with others. For me Malta is the best place to live and as they say - There's no place like home. I am proud to be Maltese :)
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
It gives me a new way of relaxation and helps to put my various thoughts in words.
What do your fans mean to you?
A lot. They help me to continue.
What are you working on next?
At the moment, nothing as I just had a baby boy and wish to spend time with him. Maybe next year I will write my next book or publish some of my poems.
Who are your favorite authors?
Danielle Steele and Dan Brown.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My husband Etienne with whom I've been married for almost 12 years and my adorable 3 month old son Diego Alejandro.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Taking care of my son and spend some quality time with my family.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Just surfing around the internet.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes.
How do you approach cover design?
Normally either photos taken by my husband or else they are pictures of my second hobby and that's pergamano card making.

Danielle Steel - No Greater Love
Danielle Steel - The Promise

Dan Brown books because I love the author and the way he writes. The first two books not only read them, but also saw the movies. Apart from that, I still have to read Inferno from the Robert Langdon series, Digital Fortress and Deception Point.

From Danielle Steel I love the two mentioned above as the first one has to do with the historical event of the Titanic and also it shows the true love between family. The second book - The Promise - well I'm a very romantic person and this book shows that when it's true love, no one and nothing can break the couple apart.
