Interview with Lonnie Smith

Published 2014-06-18.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy for me as a writer is the process of writing itself. I'm in control of the action when I write and I can make the story as humorous or action-filled as I want. It is not unusual for me to laugh out loud at a particular passage I'd just inserted in my story.
What do your fans mean to you?
I'm just starting out so I don't have that many fans but I am also a reader who thoroughly enjoys books from my favorite authors. I would like to have that sort of following. People who enjoy what I write.
What are you working on next?
I am writing a sequel to my first book "My Big Fat Supernatural Adventure. I don't have a title yet, but it will be another book about the supernatural, this time describing the final war between Heaven and Hell - Armageddon.
Who are your favorite authors?
I really enjoy Jim Butcher's Dresden series books. He's an automatic buy for me every time I see one of his books.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I still haven't gotten to the point where I can live off writing as a full time job. I would like to, but right now it's still go to a 9-5 job, then write after work, on weekends, etc. So come on readers, give my books a try. Ha Ha
