I currently read on the Kindle

I enjoy a wide variety of Authors, favourites include Dostoyevsky, Chekhov, Turgenev, Mailer, Salinger, Hemingway, Twain, Orwell, Marias, Kerouac, Steinbeck, many more!

The Talented Mr Ripley by Patricia Highsmith was the first 'adult' book I ever read. I thought the way she built up tension was incredible.

I grew up in Sussex, England in the 70's and 80's. I had a fantastic early childhood but endured the trauma of losing my mother to Cancer, aged 10. Then the family moved when my father remarried and I went into myself a little more I would say. I used to love reading as a kid, something I rediscovered in the mid-late 90's and have loved ever since. I suppose a mix of what i read and what I have experienced as I've gone through life have not only shaped me as a person but also in what I write about.

Around 1999 - 2000.

I love the freedom of it. Smashwords makes it comparatively easy compared with how it used to be.

To create something fresh and new. Something that is yours and no one else's!

If people enjoy my work and it gives them pleasure then that means the world to me.
