When I'm reading for pleasure, I usually download a crime novel or suspense. I love seeing how authors unfold a story and reveal important details one at a time to their readers. The best part is being totally surprised at who the villain is in the end, especially if the author has made me think it might be one character when its the total opposite!

My latest book is #5 in The Boss's Pet series of the Dom/sub lifestyle and I wanted Sondra to be able to take charge of what her subjects felt, to be able to push them beyond their pain limits to experience more pleasure for the final release. In book three, I wrote about her first experiences with another female and have included at least one f/f in books four and five. I'm happily married but the female body has always interested me in how some are able to have that sexual magnetism that attracts both sexes. A woman doesn't have to be pencil thin to be sexually attractive.

The most effective marketing happens when I advertise on websites where my readers play and also on websites in the genre I write, which is mainly BDSM and Dom/sub lifestyles. I do have a new western romance series that has nothing to do with the BDSM lifestyle - a few readers asked if I would write something that didn't have anything to do with that genre and I did. I hope readers check out my Wild Fillies series, Come Tame Me is book 1.

Smashwords provides the avenue to reach so many readers via their channels to other book stores such as B & N, Kobo, Sony, Apple and so many more who are still coming onboard with the company. Thank you, Mark Coker!

My life is very busy beyond my writing desk and I can't always hit my personal deadlines, let alone the deadline of a publisher. I have enough stress keeping up with myself as it is. Perhaps one day I won't be so busy. Writing for a publisher is not out of the question....it just doesn't work for me right now.

Being an Indie author also gives me the freedom to release books when I want them out to my readers, along with doing my own covers. I don't have to accept what someone else thinks is a good cover for the idea I have for the cover and then neither of us being on the same page.

As a child, I would make up stories on my way to school. Those early stories included small elf-like creatures that lived at the base trees, especially if the bottom was gnarled with hidden nooks and crannies, where something might hide. Perhaps one day I might start a children's series of books about those very elves - under a different pen name, of course! *wicked laugh*
