Smashwords Interview

What's the story behind your latest book?
A 30 year teaching and administrative career within both private and state universities--and as an observant and concerned 20 year retiree--forced me to conclude me that there are many (TOO many) floundering, flustrated though promising young people spinning and groping for answers as "they get ready to get ready". Thus the attempt by our college professor daughter Dr. Jennifer Parsons and yours truly to produce a 'lifeline" text for the 18-35 year old generation. Our goal was to enhance readability by formulating ten topic succinct chapters with ten points per topic. Once completed we find ourselves thinking a deeply concerned parent or grandparent may judge this book to be a valued gift for helping their favorite young adult successfully grapple with an ever more complex world.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
We simply are striving to find a means for mass contact with the countless young adults who are grasping for personal advice and career direction; if but ONE positive change results from reading "Life is Good, Once You know How" we are humbled and gratified.
