Loved it! This is one of your best works so far!
Izzy is a young male who has a secret crush on a close friend and can do nothing about it due to his family 'status'. Everything changes though when a new student enrolls at his school and Izzy's internal alarms start going off making him wonder who this young man really is.
I looked at my cell, which had just been against my ear. I hung up the phone and put it back in my pocket. Then I walked around Joshua and poked him in various spots to make sure he really was there, and in one piece. I wondered if my family felt the same tingle I did when Josh appeared. I hoped they didn't. Especially since Dad barely approved of Joshua roaming free and semi-unsupervised after Joshua accidentally melted one of Dad's pipes. It's not like he has a gazillion of them to smoke, right? You'd think he'd have been flattered Joshua tried to light it for him.
"I'm really here, Izzy. You can stop with the poking, please." Joshua said with an air of confidence which didn't exist two years ago. He was still mousy, but he could keep eye contact with people like me. Maybe him learning cheat codes for reality was a good thing. Hell, he even saved my ass when a nitidus tried to come into our dimension.
"Let's hope for your sake it'll always work." I worry about Joshua, even though he probably can take care of himself nowadays. Old habits die hard, and when you're a werelion, those old habits can fight back.
"Me too." He gestured towards the door that led to my private balcony. Yes, I have my own balcony. No, I never dangled my locks for a gallant prince to climb. "We should watch the sun rise."
Remember when I said some people would disagree with me on how watching the sun rise would get old, real quick? Joshua was one of them. During the summer we'd either stay up all night so we could watch the sun peek up from the horizon, or we'd wake up to catch the show. The former used to be easier for me, until recently. "Yeah, okay. Let's go."
As we sat on a pair of lawn chairs watching the sunlight spill out of the horizon and chase away the dark, I thought to myself how my attraction to Joshua hadn't changed. Unrequited love was not the kind of thing I'd ever want, but with Joshua, I was okay with it. I loved him, and probably would always love him. I knew he loved me as well, just not the way I wanted.
Story of my life: I have a killer bod, awesome supernatural abilities, but my family sucks and I can never have the guy I want.

Ivan learns that an ancient relic that his father entrusted him to take care of, is putting his friends and his life in danger. This book starts slow, but quickly ramps up the tension and action, keeping the reader hooked all the way to the end.
This is a must read, get it, you'll love it!
