A.J. Cabrera is an author and freelance writer. She has written for several
national and trade publications covering such topics as parenting, martial arts,
the military and more. As a United States Marine Corps veteran, A.J.’s
experiences there helped to shape her life perceptions about the world around
her, as well as define her personal relationships with others.
A.J. continues to acquire a personal understanding of cultural issues to further

On her spare time, she studies languages including Arabic and Spanish. Besides
