Amy Myers

Biography

Amy Myers is the author of several crime series of novels: the Auguste Didier series features a Victorian master chef sleuth, who also appears in three of the stories in this collection; the contemporary Jack Colby car detective series; the Marsh & Daughter novels, in which Peter and Georgia Marsh investigates cases from the past that have repercussions in the present; and novels about the Victorian chimney sweep Tom Wasp. Didier, Colby and Wasp also appear in the author’s short stories in anthologies and magazines.
Amy Myers worked in publishing before becoming a full-time author. She is married to an American, Jim Myers, who contributes his classic car buff knowledge to her Jack Colby series (see his blog at www.jackcolby.co.uk/classiccars/). They lived in Paris for some years, which is where she conceived the idea of master chef sleuth Auguste Didier. Now they live in Kent in England, where many of her mysteries are set – with occasional hops across the Channel to revisit the land of Didier’s birth.
