Ana Herrera Clark is the mother of one daughter and lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, in the United States. Born in El Salvador, Central America, she went to the US when she was eighteen. She studied English at Sacred Heart College, Belmont, North Carolina, then Computer Science at Central Piedmont Community College, and Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

After retiring from the airline industry she discovered she could write. Her truly amazing children’s stories are remarkable for their strange beings and eccentric themes woven into traditional romance and fairy tales. Sparkling and enchanting.
