Analise Scott

Analise Scott saw her first naked body on page 114 of a 1973 copy of Our Bodies, Ourselves tucked away on a bookshelf in her parents' basement. While her first thought was "How did that woman's nipples get so big?", her second was "What's the story behind this couple and how did they get themselves into this mess to begin with?". Thus, a love of the erotic story was born. In high school, (much to her English teachers' despair -or perhaps delight) Analise wrote multiple essays on Kate Chopin's The Awakening, one unforgettable book report on Stephen King's sex thriller Gerald's Game, and created a shadowbox depicting e.e. cumming's poem "i like my body when it is with your" which her teacher has yet to return. These days, she uses her MFA in Creative Writing to teach others how to write stuff that doesn't put people to sleep and stays up at night writing dirty stories of her own.
