Truly excellent book, properly researched and written by an author who is well versed in all things ‘African’. Particularly recommended to those who enjoyed Wilbur Smith’s earlier works…although this has a touch more reality to it (and a touch less swashbuckling-James-Bond-of-the-Bush type stuff). Heart-wrenchingly epic.
