A writer for as long as I've been able to whack at a keyboard, the most difficult challenge is finding time to squeeze a story out of the brain and into the word processor.
Influential works include all of Tolkien's Legendarium, J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series, the historical fiction of James Clavell and James Michener, and most any science textbook I can lay hands upon.
My wife and I live near to the banks of the Willamette River, and share an historic home with two mischievous dogs and two lap cats.
