Smashwords book reviews by Angel Rhett

  • Hilda - Dragon Master on Jan. 30, 2012

I have read all of the books in the Hilda series. This is a series I have thoroughly enjoyed. The stories are light, easy to read, move quickly and even have a bit of romance. I have found "nods" to certain big name authors, such as Douglas Adams. It is written much in the same light-hearted way. Even if the price of Hilda - Dragon Master was much higher it would be well worth the price. A great addition to your library.

What a delight to read this book. It kept me going all the way through. I have read a number of books on Smashwords, but only a few are good enough for me to keep. This is a wonderful exception to that rule. I hope that Mark and Sari have more to their story. I will be sure to get copies of their stories should they return.
  • Crossover 'The Chosen One Trilogy: Book One' on May 29, 2012

I waited to read this book. I am not sure why, but once I started I could not stop. The story moved quickly, mixed romance and fighting, and had wonderful characters. I can't say enough about this book. I purchased the other two as soon as I finished this book.
  • Journey 'The Chosen One Trilogy: Book Two' on May 29, 2012

A continuation of a story that I highly enjoyed. Honestly, quite often on Smashwords the stories are not well written, or have enough spelling and grammatical errors to distract the reader. Mirielle, on the other hand, had me so enthralled that I felt as if I was reading a best seller. Another delightful read!
  • Destiny (The Chosen One Trilogy:Book Three) on May 29, 2012

The only problem with this book is that I wanted it to continue. I want to know what happens to all the characters, I want to continue to lose myself in this world that Mireille has done an excellent job creating. I highly recommend the entire trilogy.
