I read Hope(less) in exchange for an honest review and will have to say that I fell in love with this book... I have always loved paranormal romances so I reading Gabby and Clay's story has been wonderful. Gabby has always felt out of place until she befriends Sam who "introduces" her to his home amoung the werewolves. While finishing high school, she learns about their ways, how she has been chosen to be 'claimed' by one of them and about her own gift (that she has kept to herself all this time). She ends up with a connection with Clay but still wants her freedom to make her own choices. Gabby and Clay end up building a relationship while Clay stays mostly in his fur most of the time. Gabby also discovers what her gift is and finally realizes how she can use it to help others like her while at the same time 'claims' Clay as hers. I can't wait to read (Mis)fortune and to read about Michelle. Thank you Melissa for allowing me to review Hope(less).

I was given the chance to read (Mis)Fortune in exchange for an honest review. One word of "awesome" explains the book but that doesn't help any of my fellow readers... Michelle is in noway perfect and she has trust issues when it comes to everyone except her brothers but then they are only 4 & 5 years old. Michelle is all her brothers have left so she is constantly fighting to keep them safe and away from the dangers that Blake shows them. She has been held captive in her own house by Blake an associate of her step-dad, Richard. After Richard has been killed, Michelle managed to get away with her brothers. However they got followed/found which is when she meets Emmitt who saves her from Blake's hired guys. Emmitt ends up taking Michelle and the boys to his home that he shares with his borhter, Jim and a pack elder, Nana Wini. Over the course of time with Emmitt and his family, Michelle realizes what they have missed out on with being locked away and starts to feel responsible for it. She also ends up learning about what Emmitt and his family are and ends up going to their home in Canada after Blake's men ends up finding them. She learns more about them and ends up claiming Emmitt. Like Gabby from Hope(less), Michelle has special insights and she can also see some of the other girls that are gifted. I can't wait for (Un)Wise to come out and hope that it involes several of the charaters from the first two books. Thank you Melissa for the opportunity to read your book.
