Ann Sepino is an independent Filipino author who loves all things fantasy romance. She enjoys creating the perfect happily ever after for her knights-in-distress and damsels-in-shining-armor. Her inspiration comes from the fairy tales and folklore of her childhood, as well as her interest and experience with local culture. One of her best titles, 'Tribeless,' was influenced by these very elements.

  No matter how many more ebooks I read, Cecily remains one of my favorite characters. This novel is the sweet read that left me sighing and smiling after being read.

  This book is a delightful retelling of the well-known myth, but incorporating a different concept and twist to the story. Not going to go into details, because I might spoil it. I only wish there could have been more interactions between the two main lovebirds, but it's okay. Overall, I enjoyed it.

  Loved it! The MCs are interesting and compelling, and the world they live in is wonderfully described. The first scenes in the book had me hooked and excited to know what would happen next. Definitely a great read for people who enjoy stories with magic, mystery and, of course, fated mates.

  Short, steamy, and ticked all the boxes under the "fated mate" trope. I liked the bit of lore that was sprinkled into the story. I also liked the interactions between the two main characters. The last part (HEA) was cute. Overall, an entertaining read!

  A lovely story with enthralling hints of magic and world-building. The love interest's introduction was so well-written. You could sense the strength and quality of his character from his dialogue. A good read for when you're taking a break from work and looking for something other than romantic drama.

  Loved it! I like how immersive the story's setting is and how many of the chapters introduce readers to the bigger storyline for the collection. The two main characters had lots of sweet moments. Their interactions felt neither lacking nor forced. I think this is a perfect afternoon read for people who want to be whisked away to a fantasy world with both beauty and danger.

  The plot started off with some dark and heavy themes, but I think it somehow helped set the mood and the main characters' motivations for the rest of the story. The love scenes were sizzling and easy to follow, considering that one of the participants wasn't physiologically human. I love the lore behind the mermaids and mermen, as it raises the stakes for both leads. I only wish that the magical rules allowing Zantu to turn into a human could have been explored more. Overall, a highly enjoyable read.

  I enjoyed reading this. There were steamy, sweet, and even sentimental moments throughout the story. Sassy yet strong-willed ladies are always a fun read, and Beatrix nicely fits that role. The main characters may have different backgrounds and an equal amount of stubbornness, but these only make them more compatible with each other.

  I enjoyed the story. It's a cute historical romance that contains sweet words and even sweeter kisses. The romance between its main characters, which grows as they exchange gifts, affirms that relationships grow stronger through friendship, respect, and acceptance. It doesn't have high-risk drama or conflict, and I believe this makes it an ideal book for someone who plans to spend their winter night reading in front of a cozy fire.

  It's an interesting story, for sure. The setting puts a new, modern, and supernatural spin on a specific culture and historical period, and it serves the romance well. The love interest is our quintessential knight-in-shining-armor, swooping into the scene to offer our lovely protagonist the happily ever after she deserves. For a book of this length, I believe the magic system was expounded well enough to digest while reading. I'd recommend this for those looking for a cozy, magical read with just enough danger to keep the suspense going.

  I thought I'd read something spicier for a change of pace, and this novella didn't disappoint. There's a good balance between introducing the setting and depicting the main character's relationship. Sasha and Mel'ar's scenes were aptly erotic, but not so graphic that readers might find them gratuitous. Overall, I liked reading this book. I'd recommend this to people who enjoy short, sexy stories with a touch of tenderness and magical lore.
