Thre are a lot of stories with a plotline of hitchhiking on smashwords but this one ROCKS!. Well written and Keara does not blow the book up into a multitude of characters with five page intros for each. She keeps the storyline going between two main people that drive the action unless she needs the others to define a scene. The sex scenes are very good and will move even the coldest reader with any blood in their veins. We are going to purchase the other manuscript Keara has on Smashwords next week. ( That's why we put up the "freebees"---right? so people can see our writing nd decide if they want to follow. We definately want to follow Keara's future work. Good luck girl!

Thriller and it carries quite a message in it. What if this is true? Did they actually do this and miss? Too bad they didn't get him ( really) because it would have saved many lives by this time in 2011
  • The Keeper of Songs: A Short Story on July 20, 2011

I continued to think that I had read this same plot in another novel on smashwords??

Interesting work but a few typos that a good copy edit could find takes away the readers concentration. The use of numbers for personal pronouns ( "one does not...") and speaking in metaphors rather loses the credibility of knowledge in the subject and sounds like a member of the gay community. No homo bashing intended here--- that is just a common Gay vernacular. The author is evidently not aware that when an author uses the "free" ISBN numbers available from Smashwords, Smashwords is sent out as the publisher to Diesel and Sony. If you want your own ISBN then buy a block of ten from Bowaker. Just FYI. Once you get around the pessimistic attitude for fellow writers and the bravado of the authors purported sales figures, there are some food for thought which is the reason I gave the effort a four star
