  • Sins of the Mother, a kate carpenter mystery on May 24, 2012

Sins of the Mother is very well written. The author has crafted a compelling story with believable characters. She develops the characters well. I like the touches of romance and humor and chemistry between the main characters. There are multiple suspects, which keeps the mystery going. When the mystery is solved, you are satisfied but eager to read more of her novels.I would recommend this book to anyone and look forward to her next one. Betty Dunn

  • The Deliberate Sheriff on Aug. 05, 2012

Great continuation of story line. Interesting addition of believable characters. I couldn't stop until I had read all in the series. However, I think there was a glitch in the conversion on this one-there were constant run-on sentences with missing punctuation. The story is so good that I just kept on reading. Betty Dunn
