Barbara Kring graduated from Scarborough High School in Maine. She started her studies in Anthropology at the University of Southern Maine before moving to Florida. An artist and writer, she has been published as contributing artist in "Hoofprints in the Wildwood: A Devotional Anthology for the Horned Lord." Barbara also contributed to writer Galina Krasskova's online blog. Other then writing children's books, she is also writing short stories. She lives in Florida with her mother where she bike rides, hikes, and camps.
