The author, Barbara G. Baldwin, who writes under bgBaldwin, spent her growing up years in Minnesota, and now resides in a small North Carolina town.

As a young girl, she often toted a notebook to capture anything that caught her eye. She began writing poetry and short stories, which continued through her teens. Painting and textile design satisfied her creative urges in her adult years, but the desire to write a novel was always there.

A day arrived when she decided to cross off another goal on her life list, and she surprised herself. She has written eight novels over the past three years, is currently nurturing ideas for a ninth, and has enjoyed every moment. She advises anyone who someday wants to write a book to try. They might also be surprised. You may contact the author at
