I have so much respect and admiration for the way in which Ann Costello has recounted the illness and death of her daughter, Deirdre. A tragic story, yet she tells the sad details with compassion, courage and honesty. Her spirituality shines without overwhelming; it's a quiet sense of knowing and intuitiveness that connected her to Deirdre in a supporting way when helping her during her illness and continued throughout the writing of this book. Ann Costello's book portrays clearly and forthrightly the strength of the human spirit and is well worth reading.
