An enjoyable book. I wasn't expecting it but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm buying the next one so that says something. Richard

I liked the this story. Definitely a good read and I'm getting the next one.

Good story. I enjoyed it. A criticism could be you made each section scenario too successful. Not enough went painfully wrong. The Ambassador's killing was the only one and that was a necessary plot device. I am very pleased to meet your work and for free; thank you. I recommend this book.

I enjoyed this book. I am going to find the sequel. A hectic and involving story which kept reminding me of a film, not the story but the style. It was also a good long read. I want to be in the world for a good chunk of time.

Have just finished this book and my first action upon closing it was to try and buy the next book in the series! A great story that kept me interested all the way through. I liked the well drawn characters and am still anxious to know what happened next to the main ones. The technical details were fascinating but not overpowering while freshness of the different planets visited was very welcome. I really enjoyed this book.

A good view of an alternative idea of space culture away from "everyone loves everybody" to, they're all alien monsters that will eat us. A good selection of possible extensions to the original story for further books but I'd like a way to ask the author what her plans actually are! I enjoyed this book. Good clear exposition and some interesting new ideas.
