I really loved Patricia Rockwell's writing style and her mystery novel, VOICE MAIL MURDER. The characters, the plot, the passion the author puts forth creating it, is all amazing and I'd love to relax and read it all over again. Dr. Pamela Barnes, acoustics expert, volunteered to help work on the murder case of the fallen hero, Coach Croft. This coach, highly revered by his teammates, had many adulterous affairs and was murdered in a motel, leaving behind a wheelchair bound wife and two daughters. Detective Shoop (loved this character) pushed Dr. Barnes, knowing his cases would be solved quicker with her expertise help. Rocky, Pamela's husband was on pins and needles every time she acted like 'Sherlock Holmes' for the police department. Patricia Rockwell really has a knack for the written word. She knows how to grab your attention and run with it. It was a fast-paced, thrilling and mysterious read. I definitely think this novel is worthy of 5 stars. I highly recommend it - a must read. Now I'm searching for other books by this author to upload on my nook reader.
