    It is fun read when visited Jolie and her friends. I have been reading out order and have no trouble understanding the story as there is enough background in each book. JOLIE needing coffee stops by Java Jolt and finds it empty with back door open. Later she sees Joe on the,street and there are a couple of pings. When Jolie stands Joe is on the ground as he has been shot. Not heeding the advice of all she becomes involved. She manages to put herself and friends in danger before she through. The ending surprise me. I recommend this series highly.

    Appraising houses Jolie Gentil finds break-ins and she recognize one person that disturbs her very much. A tropical storm ends the SPEAK LIKE A PIRATE day and the next morning a man is found murder at the site. Clues point to Jolie and her curiosity wants to know who hates so much they are trying to frame her. The events take strange turns that keep you guessing. The ending surprise me. I am reading this series out of order and have no trouble understanding as there is enough of a back story to understand it.

    Jolie is at the hospital when see an acquaintance that recognized. The family disappear overnight and she was told never to talk about them. Looking for Scoobie to discuss the sighting she find the body of the hospital administrator in the woman's restroom. Sergeant Morehouse tells to stay out of investigation. Everyone dislike the woman. However Jolie is afraid that her friend is a suspect and she wants to help him find his missing sister. There are enough twists and turns to keep Jolie and friends busy. I like this series will I brought this book and may the next one before much longer.

    This a new author for me and a good one. The characters seem so real I already identified with them. Restoring her cottage Jolie and Scoobie finds a bag of jewelry. Jolie begins to look into the history of the house trying located the owners of gems. Stranges things begin to happen culminating with a dead man on her porch. One is an addition of Pebbles to the family to keep Jazz from being lonely.Vacant houses are burning and arson is suspected. The peeping tom is still around. I will read more by this author.

    The second book in a relaxing delightful mystery series. Jolie is asked apprised an old Victorian house that stood empty since the death of owner. Her Scoobie find the attic full of antics. While cleaning the attic and listing the items Jolie is throwing clothes down the stairs a human skull fell out and both fall out of the attic. The police are not interested because of the of the skeleton Jolie decides to learn all she can. Jolie needs find answers before Scoobie and herself lose their lives.

The carnival has arrived in town and Jolie has a collection booth for the local food bank nearby it. There is dump tank and of Jolie ends up in the water. Late at that night Morehouse, a police officer lets her know that Scoobie has been attack and is in the hospital in critical condition. He tells Jolie to stay out of the investigation. Joie doesn’t listen and with George’s help explores what happen. She puts her life and others in harms way. As a result most of her friends are angry with her.

Jolie Gentil moves to Ocean Shores after husband had gambled all their funds away. She is staying at her Aunt Madge’s B B Resort. Jolie meets old friends from her high school days. She finds work as a real estate appraisal and the first day on the job Jolie finds a dead woman. One of her husband credits attempts to force her to pay her husband debt.Jolie needs,to finds answers before her life expires. I highly recommend this series.

Upon opening the door Pookie, an acquaintance is standing shaking and holding out her cell phone. It has a frightening message on it. This starts Jolie's next adventure as she seeks to answer the question. This time she plays by the rules only to find herself in deep trouble. The worst was finding a body in the Cozy Corners' kitchen. Lucky for her Sergeant Morehouse is with her. Jolie looks for answers before she meets. the killer.
