Bill Dickson

Bill worked as an art director and freelance illustrator in Toronto advertising agencies and design studios for many years. He then hitched up the horses loaded up the wagon and moved to the Ontario countryside where he began illustrating children’s books, two of which have been nominated for Silver Birch awards. Bill’s publishing clients include Scholastic, McGraw Hill, Oxford Press and Harcourt Publishing among others. His illustrations also adorn CD covers and magazines. As well as being a handsome devil and a visual artist, Bill is also an accomplished guitar player and singer songwriter. Bill speaks three languages, Scottish, Canadian, and Bubblish.

Bill lives in a cave on the shores of Lake Huron with his wife Eeva and their dog Molly.

The Mizrabubble Tales trilogy is Bill’s first book. The first of many.
