Not Perfect is about the tragic chain of events that occurs after Bo Pearson, the Red Sox right fielder, misses a fly ball and ruins a pitcher's perfect game. His life is devastated by the misplayed line drive. His home is set on fire, and his wife and only son are killed in the blaze. Pearson's obsession with bringing to justice those who caused the fire results in unimaginable consequences.
