Bio for our first author:
Teresa (T.K.) Thorne is a retired captain from the Birmingham Police Department. She mixes magic and mayhem with police work in her new novel, HOUSE OF ROSE. Her debut novel, NOAH'S WIFE won ForeWord Reviews “Book of the Year” award for Historical Fiction. Her newest novel (the story of Lot's wife) is ANGELS AT THE GATE, which won the Benjamin Franklin award for Historical Fiction. Her non-fiction LAST CHANCE FOR JUSTICE, chronicles the story of the investigation of the Sixteenth Street Church bombing in Birmingham, Alabama that killed four young girls. Her short stories and screenplays have garnered awards as well. A film from her screenplay, "Six Blocks Wide," was based on her experiences in the Birmingham Police Department and has shown at film festivals in Alabama and Europe.
