This follow up to Bring on the Rain tells the story of Brook Logan. In Bring on the Rain, on her prom night, her boyfriend, Coy, slept with her best friend on the hood of a car. This is the story of what happened after she left. Deciding that staying on after graduation just wasn't for her, Brook and Aunt Gee Gee toured Europe. Finally feeling like she can settle back "home," Brook returns. In the meantime, Coy has been raising his seven year old single handedly. Knowing that she'll see Coy and his son and seeing Coy and his son are two different things. I thought that her reactions were spot on and I was *thrilled* with the fact that Asbury didn't force an instant "I love you forever" reunion. Brook starts to date Raphael but trouble comes back in the form of her former best friend. There is a happily ever after (it *is* a romance, afterall) but Asbury makes Brook work for it. I Run to You is full of emotion and is a great second chances can happen romance. The only thing to quibble about are the grammar errors and random capitalization issues. There were times when I was tossed from the book, wondering why certain words were capitalized.
