Kit Kimberly lived in Prague, Czechoslovakia (1992-93) and Czech Republic (1993-99), where she worked as a journalist, writing teacher, and coordinator for NGOs and other civil society initiatives. She is a graduate of East Carolina University with a BA in English with a concentration in Writing and an MA in Literature.
Habitually peripatetic, she has also lived in Scotland and Australia, and currently makes her home in Wellington, New Zealand. The Last Bohemians is her first novel.
