Brian Paone
Biography
Brian Paone, a Massachusetts native, has been writing fiction since 1988 and performing in bands since 1994. Brian took drum lessons throughout high-school and in 1994 he joined his first band, Vertical Smile. After one show as the drummer, Brian left Vertical Smile, and started his career as a vocalist and frontman. Since then, Brian has fronted the bands: Yellow #1, Drop Kick Jesus, The Grave Machine and currently Transpose. Each of the bands have covered a wide range of genres and styles.
Alongside of his musical career, Brian never abandoned his writing. Brian's first novel, "Dreams Are Unfinished Thoughts", was published in October, 2007 and his second novel, "Welcome To Parkview", was published in August, 2010. Brian also compiled all of the short stories he had written between 1989-1996 and independently published them himself in a single collection titled "Thanks For The Nostalgia".
Brian currently lives in Georgia with his wife Stephanie and their two children, Analise and Everett. Brian is also a Police Officer for the St. Marys, GA Police Department and has been working in Law Enforcement since 2002.
