A Must Read! This book was wonderful!! I was very impressed with the author's ability to gain the reader's sympathy. Tracy is a wonderful character! Can't wait to read more of her work!!
  • Forever Kiss on Feb. 06, 2013

A very good read!!! I immediately enjoyed both characters and the writing style. It's refreshing to know that Deirdre isn't the typical "perfect" female in body-type. That little tid-bit makes the story more convincing and enjoyable. The only flaw that I could think of associating with this story is that it is TOO SHORT!!! I'd be very interested in a longer rendition of Lucian's tale! Good job!!

A very interesting piece. The author was able to lure you into the confusing, tangled web that is the main character's emotions. Undeniably witty and charming. I loved the style it was written in. And in the end I found myself wanting to know more about Joseph's story as well as what Walter would write about her. Very brilliant, and regardless of what the author says, I doubt that the kind of talent needed to write this piece comes only once. Would definately be interested in reading more (especially if the author enjoys writing superhero fiction) but alas, I shall endeavor to wait patiently. Overall, I give this humorous and moving piece, 5 Gold Stars!
  • Images - A Love Story on Feb. 15, 2013

I really enjoyed this short piece. I think it would also be a brilliant longer novel, where the author extends the relationship between the main character and her boss. Lauren's character was very intriguing and I would definately pay to read more!!
  • Blackbird (a Sometimes Never novella) on Feb. 20, 2013

This is probably my favorite piece on Smashwords at the moment. Mason and Hope are very real characters for me and I loved their story. The author was very capable in capturing Hope's illness in writing and especially all the emotions that come with it. Mason's unfaltering love for her is extremely moving. It was very well written as well. I loved the style and truly want more.

Loved this story!!! Written very well and it was quite easy to lose yourself in the characters. Quite intrigued about Nick towards the end? Shane? Hmmm. Would love to see more :)
  • Simone on March 18, 2013

I don't really see how this could be considered romance? Rape isn't romantic in the least. I didn't really read the synopsis, which is my fault I suppose. I think it was really, really well-written but the subject matter is too morose and cringe-worthy (simply because rape is not an enjoyable topic for me). I'm going to still give this read five stars because like I said the story was well-written and the author captured the perceptions of both characters really well. The story moved in a fluid manner (no pun intended). The subject matter shouldn't affect the author's writing review. Just because I didn't agree with the subject doesn't mean that it impedes on the author's capacity to write a great story. I just think that the genre title is a bit misleading. Otherwise, great writing! And like LH stated....I can truly say I don't want to be Simone.

Oh my, this was delicious!!! I loved reading this so much!! The author portrayed one of the sexiest fantasies a woman could ever have.... someone they lust after, watching them...gah ;) Loved it and can't wait for more from the author!! Well written and extremely steamy!!

What a great read! It's one of those stories that runs around your mind long after you've closed your eyes to the last word. I can't wait to read the rest of this story!! I am fairly good at figuring out the plot line in novels but the author definately shocked me here. I had no idea of the twist she had in store for me! Well-written and tantalizing!
