Robert E. Buckley was born and raised in New York. A graduate of Iowa State University with majors in Psychology and American Literature, he spent his career in the advertising agency business; as copywriter, creative director and manager of Young & Rubicam affiliated agencies. After an early retirement, he set off on an annual series of solo walks across Ireland – England – Scotland – and Wales and subsequently lectured and wrote articles of his adventures for numerous newspapers including The Denver Post, Kansas City Star, The Detroit Free Press, as well as a number of international travel publications. Buckley lives with his wife in Marion, Iowa. This is his second novel.
