Like David, quotation marks are important and there are NONE here. Sentences are far too long BUT, this can be corrected and I would recommend the author does this ASAP.
Would have been 5 stars for the storyline but due to this problem that makes it difficult for the reader.........
Finished the book last night. What an adventure!
Young Peter, the hero, is a fine young man even though he had his downfalls.
I love the fantasy world this author has created and the characters in both antipoles.
The pictures through out the book are great. (I think there are 21) . I haven't seen anything done like this before.
I look forward to reading book 2 when it's published.
Recommended for all ages.
Great short story. Yes it was pretty harsh in London in the mid 19th century and this book brings out those difficulties. Wonderful story throughout and absolutely love the twist at the end. Looking forward to the unabridged version after visiting the authors website to find it will include an alternate ending.
Like Carol, I hope there will be more pictures.
What a treat. :)
Another wonderful story in this series. Puck tries to take matters into his own hands. Being so young he misunderstands what he's told and screws up big time. Poor Puck, he is a good person and does everything he can to fix everything. Thank goodness it works.
Once again there are lessons, an adventure that I would never have guessed and a happy ending.
A beautiful story as always from Linda.
Highly recommended and as everyone else I look forward to the third book in the series.
After reading A Vampire in the Vatican I had to see what Inspector Martinelli got up to next. I really like this guy and it was good to follow his next adventure.
A search for Nazi gold and missing children is a fascinating concept and the vampires crop up again. The Inspectors solving of the problem and his evaluation of information as it comes to light is very clever.
It is also quite touching near the end of the story.
A photo near the end said it all and brings us closer to the characters which we've got to know through the story.
I really enjoyed this read even though when I started I thought the title was a bit much but the title is perfect.
I won't give the story away but the author has put some funny lines in which made me smile, and occasionally laugh.
Highly recommended and I look forward to Book 3.
