Ryan Baidya, PhD., MBA
Ryan Baidya is an entrepreneur, an educator, and a mentor. He has 25+ years of experience in executive roles in industry and academia. He has started multiple start-up businesses in high-tech, biotech, and education areas. Concurrently he was engaged with academic institutions and worked and/or taught at various academic entrepreneurship and business programs, such as the University of California, Santa Cruz, Colorado University, Boulder, University of California Berkeley extension program, National Singapore University, Silicon Valley campus, and International Technology University.

Currently, he is an international mentor for the Business Innovation and Incubation Centre (Mahatma Gandhi University) Kerala, India, Startup boot camp Scale up, Osaka, Japan, and IKIGAI business accelerator in Silicon Valley, California. Independently, he gave numerous lectures and training on entrepreneurship, management, and high-tech -business topics, primarily in the USA, India, and Japan. He authored patents, books, articles, and commentaries.

He received an MBA at San Jose State University, California (SJSU); a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC); and a Master's Degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK). He was a fellow of the Damon Runyon Walter-Winchell Foundation, and a Fulbright specialist for the US Department of State Fulbright Program.
