  • Cherishing Destiny on Aug. 13, 2013

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my part! This is a great story with a unique plot and strong characters. This is not like any other regular vampire story. It is truly interesting and a fast-paced that will make you turn the pages at a much faster pace than you usually do! The suspense thrilled me and the exotic romance grabbed my heart and interest from the first page. I loved the characters very much and really appreciate the writing style of the author, it just added the exact spice the story needed. The author did justice with all the characters as she gave equal importance to both the vampires and Were(s) and didn't make the story entirely focused on any particular character. It has many great twists and turns that will make your heart race and you’ll be driven crazy to peek at the last chapters for a quick view at how it ends! (Well I know it’s cheating, but you won’t be able to stop yourself, don’t worry I did the same as well). The story starts with Destiny (a Vamphyr), lying totally defeated and beaten and the author takes us on the adventure as destiny relives her memories and we get a chance to explore through them. The story gains momentum when the enemies (Hunters) try to hunt the vampires and were(s) as well, a strange solar storm transforms the immortal vampires into mortals and they can bear sun light as well (yeah you heard me right folks!) and they can reproduce too, that’s just awesome right? Your known vampire concepts are going to change guys and you’re going to howl for more for sure! So grab your copy right now and enjoy a great and unique read and trust me it will truly satisfy your expectations as well.
  • The Undead Heart (#1 in the Blood Thirst Series) on Aug. 14, 2013

I got this book from the author, free of cost in exchange of an honest review from my part. I'm glad that I got the opportunity of reviewing this great book. Thank you Stephanie Jackson! The plot and story line is unique and the characters are 'just fab!'. The writing really impressed me a lot, no use of bombarding vocabulary but still it has got the essence of an enriched writing which really eases the reading of the readers. The author synchronized the old days mysterious and superstitious world with the modern world along with its open mindedness and technology. You'll find Richard as old school whereas Beck is a totally modernized up to date girl but the chemistry between them will leave you speechless! In this series I got the cream of sensational romance, heart wrenching emotions and exciting suspense and anticipation which will drive you crazy and you will bite all your nails off for sure. I was totally overwhelmed by this book and it really satisfied the expectations I had from it. But my excitement was dulled a little because of the third person POV! If it was written from the POV of Beck ( the main character) then it would have been really great! It often became a little confusing in understanding the actual speaker of the dialogue but the good points really outweighs the bad points for sure! I don't want to ruin the element of surprise and the suspense and excitement of the readers who have approached this book already or are keen to give it a shot so I'm not adding any spoilers in my review. Hope ya all enjoy it as much as I did.
  • In Too Deep on Aug. 17, 2013

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side! Firstly I would like to thank Brandy L. Rivers, author of In Too Deep for giving me this wonderful opportunity of reviewing her work and I’m really glad to do that. So, moving on to the review part now. WOW! That was just breathtakingly, freakishly wonderful! This is the very first thought that will come to your mind when you’ll finish this book. It’s really that much awesome, I swear! The story sucked me in from the very first page and I traveled in a beautiful, wondrous, mystical, mysterious and totally real world that the author created. The main character Fallon is a kick-ass heroine and I really like females who are strong, confident, self dependent, powerful and not a helpless chick! So if you wanna have some real female butt-kicking then you ought to have this book. The male main character Brody was very good as well but Fallon stole the show! Brody is strong, sexy and hot and he’ll knock you out girls, totally! So watch out. The erotic and super sexy romance will make your heart stop and you’ll yearn for more. This story is full of action, suspense, romance, thrill, what else do you need guys? So grab your copy and enjoy the ride!
  • Dark Genesis on Aug. 17, 2013

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side, which I’m thrilled to give. Firstly I would like to thanks Dave Ferraro, author of Dark Genesis for this wonderful opportunity that he presented me with by giving this fabulous book for reviewing. The author nailed it, literally. The plot and the story line is just freakishly awesome and I’m glad that I signed up for this one rather than any other book. The mysterious and suspenseful world that the author created and which haunted the main character Alyssa really touched me and drew me inside it and I really went through all the emotional turmoil that Alyssa faced. I was swayed away by the freshness and awesomeness of this story. The characterization was so prominent and lively that it didn't even feel that you’re reading a fantasy book rather you’ll feel as if you’re a part of it. I loved the other characters that came along as the story progressed. The writing style was very easy going and really interested me a lot but there were some editing mistakes which I’m sure the author will take care of. So paranormal fans , it’s a must read for you all and I heartily recommend the story to everyone even if you’re not a fantasy fan but I bet if you go through this then you’re ought to develop a knack for this genre! Enjoy reading!

  • Touch on Aug. 20, 2013

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side! Firstly I would love to thank Melissa Haag, author of Touch for giving me this chance of reading and reviewing the book. The blurb excited me but the book was totally great, even better that I thought it would be. A totally unique and fresh story which you won't even find to resemble any other book out there! The story really thrilled me and the suspense was spooky and eerie as well! The gift or curse as you like to say that, the main character Tessa has is really freakishly awesome, I mean if you can see your future life with a man whom you chose to be with, then that would be a great advantage but sadly it's not the case for poor Tessa as all the men she sees her future with by just touching them dies early leaving her totally alone and devastated. So that's a huge problem our Tessa has and she just have the time till her seventeenth birthday to choose the correct boy for her but at any case the boy will die early. The emotional turmoil that she faces is really heart wrenching but the story takes a whirlwind turn when a demon enters the scene and wants to be chosen by someone as he is totally alone and lonely. Tessa's choice and the uncertainty of her decision will make you chomp on your nails in anticipation and suspense so get ready to enjoy this book and get your copy as quickly as you can.

  • Crest Of The Blood Moon on Aug. 21, 2013

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side! Firstly I would like to thank Robin P. Waldrop, author of Crest of the Blood Moon and also Lovers of Paranormal group in 'Goodreads' for giving me this great opportunity of reading and reviewing this fantastic book. I loved the story and it was really captivating and totally awesome. It is really a page-turner and you'll find yourself going on and on till you finish it up in just one sitting, it's totally unputdownable! I adored the heroine as she is brave, confident and compassionate and the new and fresh take on the same old vampire/werewolf genre really geared up the story and sucked me in from the very first page. I didn't read the first two books in this series so at first I thought that the 3rd book wouldn't make any sense to me but I was totally proved wrong by the author's fine and enriched writing and descriptive skills and I didn't even felt it confusing at any time and story kept it's firm hold on my interest and attention till the last page. All in all a great YA story and you would really thank me in the end for this recommendation (well, I guess!). So grab your copy and enjoy this fabulous story and wait impatiently for the fourth and final book in this series as I'm doing right now! Ugh!
  • Minutes Before Sunset on Aug. 21, 2013

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side which I'm thrilled to share! Firstly I would like to thank Shannon A. Thompson, author Of Minutes Before Sunset, for giving me this wonderful opportunity of reading and reviewing this fabulous story. I loved the story line, it is fresh and unique and totally 'kick-ass'! The action scenes are awesome and they are capable of sending chills down your spine and the suspense will drive you crazy with anticipation. The writing style is fabulous and I really loved Erik a lot, he lives a double faceted life in this story and the connection and romantic sizzles between him and Jessica was really awesome and won my heart. I thoroughly enjoy the story and I'm eagerly waiting to read the sequel. All in all a great read and great experience on my side and I would recommend each one of you out there to take it up and give it a shot, you're bound to love it!
  • Black Heart on Sep. 01, 2013

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange for an honest review from my side! Firstly I would love to thank Morgan Dreiss, author of Black Heart, for giving me this fantastic opportunity of reading and reviewing this wonderful book. The book really left me laughing out loud, God, the author provided some great humorous punch in here that will definitely make you giggle. I really enjoyed the story and the story line is really on track and it's totally different from the regular plot and story line will catch you off guard. I really liked the concept that the author thought the mere humans can do some serious damage and can leave their mark in this supernatural story, well usually the humans are shown as frail and totally inferior to the supernatural beings but here the author introduced the humans as strong and not dependable. The book has all the important elements that is required in this story to make it spicy and interesting and I really enjoyed this experience.
  • Fated Dreams (Book One In The Affinity Series) on Sep. 02, 2013

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side which I'm really excited to share with ya all! Firstly I would love to thank Christina Smith, author of Fated Dreams, for giving me this wonderful opportunity of reading and reviewing this precious book. OH.MY.GOD! What can i say? The author really left me speechless with this beautiful, peerless and totally soul touching book. I loved it, in real sense and I'm not exaggerating! The pure, serene and lovely concept of soul mates and their never ending love for each other is the blood and soul of this story and I loved the way they reincarnated to find their soul mates. Lucas and Sarah is the ideal couple and their deep and true love is really heart touching. I cried, laughed, sighed, giggled all the way through the book and let me tell you that the author has an expert writing skill and expect a few missing words I didn't find any other mistakes in this book. Lucas is really adorable and Sarah is the girl next door type rather than a whiny and arrogant chick which I would have really hated if the case has been so. I felt an instant connection with the characters and the humorous punches that the author provided now and then truly balanced the chilling suspense that is definitely going to send chills down your spine and will leave you wondering about the culprit till the end and let me tell you that you're going to be really surprised at the end. I truly enjoyed this book and will recommend it to everyone out there and I bet that you won't be disappointed folks! • Delusions (Book Two In The Affinity Series) on Sep. 02, 2013

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side! Firstly I would like to thank Christina Smith, author of Delusions for giving me this wonderful opportunity of reading and reviewing this wonderful book. I enjoyed the story a lot but I felt it a little slow-paced compared to the first book 'Fated Dreams'. I loved Logan from the very first time I read the first book and if his twin brother Lucas is adorable and the guy you want to have a long life relationship with then Logan is hot, sexy and definitely he is a 'boyfriend' material but as the story progresses we see that true love and the presence of his soul mate changes him into a more responsible, lovely and really caring life partner. The transition is totally breath-taking and made my heart fly with happiness. I loved Lisa as well, she is not like any other weak teenage girl who would just let anyone leave without revenge and she is even brilliant in plotting against the boy she loves but is determined to get equal after he plays a really moronic prank with her but later it turns to be a lie which she believed and wasted her time for two long years. The suspense element is good but I felt that the author stretched it a teeny-tiny bit long and I would have been real happy if it had been a little more composed and fast-paced but other than that it is an awesome story which you're ought to enjoy a lot. The story also take us through the life of Lucas and Sarah and I really enjoyed the way their relationship developed and I'm happy to see them finally settled and happy. All in all a great read and I'll recommend it to ya all.
  • Unhinged on Nov. 01, 2013

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side. Firstly I would like to thank Tempest C. Avery, author of Unhinged for giving me this opportunity of reading and reviewing this book. Well, this book has a unique concept and I liked that a lot. Here we meet Spenser whose boyfriend died and all hell broke loose for her when he returns as a ghost. In order to save him she crosses the river and steps in the Otherworld with a reaper and meets the God of Death Hadrian and signs up s deal that can get her boyfriend back. But is that all about the deal? Will it be that simple with the God of Death? What will happen if Spencer falls for Hadrian? This story was refreshing and I liked the vivid descriptive explanations that the author used for setting up the story and the plot. The plot planning is great and I liked the writing style of the author too. I never knew that Hades will be sexy and to-die-for handsome but the author made me believe that and the use of the name Hadrian instead of Hades made me want him more of course for myself! I adored Spencer’s character and her bravery; she is confident and has the control of her bearings. Micah was okay for me but Hadrian stole the show and I know the others will agree with me too. All in all a great read that is full of action, eerie suspense, spine chilling mystery and a totally new take on Paranormal genre. I would like to recommend it to all of you and hope that you guys will love it as well. Enjoy, reading!!!
  • Reap on Nov. 08, 2013

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side. Firstly I would like to thank Christina Channelle, author of Reap, for giving me this opportunity of reading and reviewing this awesome book. The whole story is amazing. I felt a little bit confused at first and it seemed that the pace is too fast for me to be comfortable with but slowly the pace became normal and I could lose myself within the plot and enter into the life of the characters. I think the main reason behind this is that the book is a novella and in most cases I found that novellas are always a bit rushed and end with unanswered questions but this book succeeded in laying down a perfect opening ground for the following novel. This book really involves an interesting mystery as we find that the protagonist Mia wakes up totally blank minded and doesn’t remember even her name. Then the story slowly continues and part by part Mia’s memory comes back and a very surprising even shocking revelation awaits the readers at the ending chapters. I liked the concept and the plot and also loved the detailed descriptions that the author provided. Though I felt a little uncomfortable at first but the smooth writing style of the author brought me back within the story. The characterization is good but the background of the individual characters is missing and we don’t get to know much about them. The emotions are portrayed remarkably within the skilled words of the author that bound me with the characters and also made me cry. The world building is great and the whole story seemed believable given the vivid details of the surroundings. Overall a great read and would like to recommend it to ya all and hope that you guys will like it. Enjoy!!!
  • Death of the Mad Hatter on Nov. 29, 2013

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side. Firstly I would like to thank Sarah J. Pepper, author of Death of the Mad Hatter, for giving me this opportunity of reading and reviewing this fabulous book. I got this book from Lovers of Paranormal group of Goodreads under the Read to Review Scheme! I really, really, really enjoyed this read a lot, from my heart. It was mesmerized by this and this read was an otherworldly experience for me, altogether. I read Alice in Wonderland when I was a kid and this book really brought up those memories of that particular winter when I read the original Alice in Wonderland, curled up with my mom on my tiny bed. This story is different yet it has got a similar and known feeling to it. The modernization that the author did to this classic story is really great and I loved the main character Alice. A great and enjoyable read and I would definitely recommend it to all of you book lovers and if you want to relive your moments of reading the classic ‘Alice in Wonderland’ with a fantastic twist then surely you should go for it and I guarantee you that you would definitely love it. The ending is truly awesome but I’m not going it give it up. So buckle up guys and enter the fantasy world where there are developed and fantastic characters that will draw you in, a well planned out plot and it has a very unique essence to it. The story is fast-paced and a page turner and don’t worry there are major differences between this book and the classic one and you can’t even imagine who much more you’ll get from this story. So get ready for the huge surprise. Enjoy, folks!
  • Moon's Flower: A tale of Hidden Kingdom on Dec. 12, 2013

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side. Firstly I would like to thank the author for giving me this opportunity of reading and reviewing this book. I got this book from LoP under the read to review theme. Thanks Carrie (moderator of LoP) for this wonderful opportunity!!! Whoa!!! What an enchanting read, I just couldn’t get my eyes off the e-reader and kept on reading and reading till the very end. A fascinating fantasy read that I’m going to cherish for a long time. The characters are so developed and I couldn’t pinpoint even a single negative point about any of them. The total world building is great and I loved the way things turned out at the end. The flow of the story is also great and I enjoyed the fast-pace of it. The love that we got to experience and feel in this story really touched my heart in many ways and the skilled writing of the author made the read much more intriguing. I loved Danika’s character and the presentation and execution of the each and every tiny detail of her personality won me over and made me adore her. A totally unique concept and the brilliant execution of it made me a great fan of Marie Hall’s work and I would be definitely following her future releases. Enjoy this book and I bet that you wouldn’t regret picking it up.
