Hi, I am the editor in chief as well as a publisher. I am representing the authors of 4-5 Forum (or April 5th Forum by meaning) as well as other independent authors. It's my mission and hope to help Chinese dissidents to officially publish their works so that the dissents can be heard by the world.
In terms of 4-5 forum, the periodical, my team have run this magazine for quite a few years and produced quite some issues. We love the work as the editors of 4-5 Forum. 4-5 Forum is a magazine of political and legal studies in contexts of China. The magazine originated as the first non-governmental funded magazine during the Chinese Democracy Wall era, dedicated to the cause of democracy and constitutionalsim back in year 1978. The electronic release of the magazine in a small community has been tried out for about a year. Now it's time to publish through self publishing platforms to reach a wider public.
4-5 Forum today focuses on theoretical research in rights, democracy and institutions. It has a group of selected authors with expertise in their respective areas. But unfortunately, we can't introduce who they are due to security reasons.

This is a periodical that started from The Democratic Wall era back in 1978. It's the first non-governmental funded media founded by Mr. Xu Wenli, who was sentenced to 15 years' term in priso because of his "illegal" publication.
The photo attached is the scanned copy of a special issue, issue No.14, published on Nov. 26, 1979, to celebrate its one year anniversary.
