Biography
I am a retired Librarian, born in St.Helens, Lancashire. UK (home of the famous Rugby League team), and share a quiet retirement with my husband of 45 years, Kevin.
In the early 60's I attended Cowley Girls'Grammar, St.Helens. Old school friends may remember me as Carol Scott.
Dragon Magic is my first published book and was inspired by my niece and nephews who star in the story. I like pastel painting, particularly portraits and animals, and have a website showcasing my work, which Kevin designed.

As a keen quilter, I am a member of two local quilting groups and a general crafting group. I love animals but only have one pet at the moment, an adopted black cat called Topsy.
My favourite holiday was a 65th birthday present from my brother - a glorious 3 weeks touring New England. We loved every minute and I'd go back tomorrow, if I could. Kevin spent about 3 months after the holiday designing another website at:

We have also visited New York, toured Nevada, Arizona and California, (again, thanks to my brother's generosity) - as well as Spain and Portugal.
Kevin and I adore America, and hope that fate will allow us to return some day.
